The 2004 Irish Getaway (the eleventh annual Getaway) was a tremendous success, with just over 900 registered, plus some who didn't register. The weather was fantastic, which helped make up for the monsoon rains of last year! We truly appreciate each and every one of our attendees. You are the reason we do it. We also want to thank all the members of GAA2 and GAQ who work hard to make the Getaway a success. In addition, there were many, many fine folks from other chapters who pitched in to lend a hand when things got busy...we couldn't possibly name everybody. We also don't want to leave out our fine vendors. Everybody knows that it takes a good variety of vendors to make an event successful, and ours are among the best. GAA2's new CDs, Melody & Jerry Watson, along with our new ACDs, Jewel & Wayne Dennard, did a fantastic job putting together their inaugural event! Some pictures are posted below.
