The Feeding of the 5,000
Marble Hill, MO
5/15/02
(Dan Dickerson & wash tent used to assist FBC, Marble Hill feed flood victims)
Since the devastating flood went through Marble Hill Sunday night, 5/12/02, and through the conclusion of the cleanup, the First Baptist Church of Marble Hill estimates the possible feeding of 5,000 or more! This has been a tremendous drain on the resources of the church and community. On Tuesday 5/14, our Disaster Relief Team was able to step-in and lend some assistance. Under the leadership of John Rhodes, Doug Austin, JoAnn Hahs, and Ron Hahs a wash tent was set up, we brought in cleaning supplies & food to help with the efforts. At this point it appears we will be there to aid and assist through Sunday 5/18. What a tremendous ministry is being accomplished by the First Baptist Church, Fred Ritter Pastor. Proud of them! Proud for them!
