Rodeos are held twice a year, the second weekend of October & April
Fort Worth Stockyards Arena
Rodeos are for children and adults with Developmental Disabilities, all ages

The first day of the rodeo weekend is a fun day setup and arranged by the SCRA members, in the Stockyards, rodeos, concerts, entertainment, shopping, dining out, etc.
The second day of the rodeo weekend is the day of the SCRA Rodeo, starting with the grand entry which is open to the public to ride horses in, and join in the fun, followed by the national anthem, prayer and the rodeo events, and last but not least the awards.

COWGIRLS!!!!!!! Don't forget to call in and get your tickets to run for the 2002 SCRA Rodeo Queen, she will be crowned in April at the Rodeo.

Other events of the SCRA

Held  in between Rodeos, for all family and friends of SCRA members
Playdays, Trail rides, picnics, horsemanship clinics, concerts, and get togethers.
Parades, and other community events are also a big part of the SCRA.


Fundraisers to help fund Rodeos:
anyone wishing to host a fundraiser is greatly appreciated and just needs to contact the SCRA for help and instruction on doing a fundraiser.

Any donations of items that can be raffled off or auctioned off by the SCRA are also a big help to the kids, the kids enjoy running these type of events and do a great job at it.
