Shelly Braden the President and Founder of Sacred Winds; has devoted her life
caring for wolves and wolf hybrids. She has a natural gift with animals, her love
for them shines through and they see this as a sign of respect and trust. She has
a calming effect on wild and unruly animals; it is an experience to watch her at work.
She is proud of her Native roots and walks in balance with nature; and in doing so
she has learned the needs of Mother Earth and all of her children.

I have great admiration for this Lady, and I am honored to be a part of her life.
She is very modest, hard working and self-sacrificing, with very little time for herself.
The only reward she looks for is knowing that her babies (as she calls them) at
Sacred Winds are given the love and a better quality of life than they had prior
to their arrival at the foundation.
