The Rook's Nest Index
These pages are under constant construction - if you find an
empty link, please come back later!
The Rook's Nest serves as a forum for roleplayers and miniatures
wargamers,
providing scenarios, variant rules, and modeling tips. With regard to
wargaming, we focus on Games
Workshop games (particularly Warhammer 40,000) but our scenarios are designed to
be easily adapted to any miniatures wargame. We also maintain a section
devoted to our own D&D campaign.

These pages are for variant rules for GW games, specifically Warhammer 40Kv3
and Warhammer Fantasy. We've tried to include rules for models that are no
longer in print, as well as concepts forgotten or edited-out by GW. Also
in these pages are various scenario ideas, including an archive of our 40K
scenario newsletter, There Is Only War.

The Academy is the headquarters for our
most recent D&D campaign, with
background, notes, errata, NPCs, maps, and more. Get a peek at our world,
and maybe steal a few ideas for your own!

Second Coming was our most recent Fuzion/Cyberpunk saga. Download the Fuzion rules here! Plus links to recommended Fuzion pages.
Coming soon in this section: background and personalities from our various
Cyberpunk campaigns.

Pax Victoriana is a work-in-progress - an alternate-history setting
for the d20 system, bringing together equal parts Verne and Lovecraft.

Starships, aliens, and sex-droids, oh my! Join the happy-go-lucky crew
of the Ship With No Name as they wreak havoc throughout the galaxy in
this Big Eyes, Small Mouth comedy anime space-opera campaign.

This section is a repository for anything that doesn't fit anywhere else -
failed ideas, assorted musings, progress reports, etc.

Check out exactly what we've been checking out lately in the realms of roleplaying,
wargames, film
& TV, books, and video games.
