It's only fair to give credit where credit is due. This campaign world was not the work of just one man - it all started as a cooperative project within our gaming group, unofficially dubbed (by me, so it's even more unofficial) the Blue Dolphins, after a certain ship our characters once had. Gods, that was years ago... Anyway, everyone in our club works on our various roleplaying campaigns and participates in wargaming as well. The fact that I refer to all of them via aliases should be considered a nod to internet privacy, rather than a suggestion that we are in some way criminals or fugitives. Monkey developed Salvora and did work on Religion, coming up with the first list of gods and goddesses. He also did work on the island of Yedo (forthcoming). Monkey runs D&D and Cyberpunk for us sometimes, and is noted for his Alaitoc Rangers and High Elves. BGC developed Illustria, and did a lot of background work on the goblinoid races, particularly the Gorya (some of which has yet to see print on the site, but will soon). As a wargamer, he plays Empire, Chaos, Orks, Space Wolves, and Tyranids - and he's quite an accomplished painter, as well. Dangerboy developed Laraeston (those bastards). I cannot express in words the depths of my loathing for his Blood Angels (or his Vampire Counts, for that matter). Racer X developed the Isle of Wyde (and there's more coming on this front, too). Racer plays Wood Elves for fantasy and Eldar for 40K. The Enchanter helped develop the culture of Rajan, and has recently begun an Imperial Guard army. Fat Irish helped out on details for Laraeston, including the forthcoming article on the Midnight Guard. His Black Templars made a mockery of all things 40K. Rook did all the rest of the fleshing-out, and runs the website itself. The Rook currently plays Squats (ie, Orks) in 40K and Dwarves in fantasy. Horse, Scrote, and several others over the years have played on Kaer and helped develop its quirks merely by their presence. Thanks to everyone involved. |
