These pages are under constant construction - if you find an empty link, please check back later!

Our main focus in 40K is to supplement the existing third edition rules with compatible rules for 'lost' concepts from previous editions and for out-of-production model lines.

NEW:  Our own local gaming group is getting started on a proper 40K League.  Check out our progress, and who's in the lead here.  Also check out the 40K fonts we've added (which can be seen around our site and are, far as I know, public domain).  And check back soon for more links, as I finally go through and add all the stuff I've been jotting down for some time.

NOT QUITE NEW:  One of the recent White Dwarfs included vehicle construction rules, and they seem pretty balanced when used by experienced players who aren't trying to "cheese out".  Check out some of the sample vehicles we've added, using this system: the Ork Squiggoth, and Imperial tanks for a Tallarn army!

DEFINITELY NOT NEW: Check out Total War, a GW-produced list of scenario ideas for use with the Armageddon campaign they're fighting worldwide as we speak.  There's some neat stuff in here, even if you're not playing out the battles of Armageddon.

The science-fiction half of our ongoing Retro Project, this page will lead you to all the rules we've created and playtested for pieces of 40K that were not included in the third edition - troop types, vehicles, psyker powers, and more!

Just adapting old rules isn't enough for us here at the Nest - we're also constantly working on new rules and variants to add interesting twists to your 40K games.  Check out the Feral Armies, and rules for Amphibious Assaults and Weapon Emplacements!

Our scenario archives are a repository for all kinds of 40K scenarios, most of which are based on historical battles.  Best of all - they're all adaptable to other sci-fi games.
