  1. All AMA safety rules and Club BY-LAWS apply to all flying sites.

  2. A preflight inspection and radio range check is required for all new aircraft.

  3. Until a flyer has become proficient in all aspects of flying, he or she will fly only in the presence of an experienced pilot or at a time when the field is unoccupied by other flyers or spectators.

  4. No transmitter may be turned on by anyone without the correct frequency pin attached to his antenna.  Replace pin and turn flag down after each use so the next flier can use it.

  5. All aircraft will be kept in the pit area.

  6. All engines .15 and above will have an effective muffler.

  7. Aircraft in the air and on a landing approach have priority over aircraft on the ground.  Each flyer will check for aircraft on landing approach before taxiing onto runway or taking off.

  8. During flying, no pilot will stand within 15 feet of the runway except during takeoff or landing.

  9. There will ABSOLUTELY NO FLYING OVER THE PIT AREA, SPECTATOR AREA, VEHICLE PARKING, OR OVER ANY BUILDINGS.

  10. In order to maintain safe helicopter and fixed wing operations at each field:
    (a) Helicopter prolonged hovering shall be only in designated area, and
    (b) There shall be no hovering in the pit areas.

  11. Each member is responsible for the removal of all trash, fuel, cans, bottles, etc.  There are no trash cans.  No drunkenness, drug use, unsportsman like conduct will be tolerated.

  12. Do not leave pets or children unattended.

  13. Do not run engines at full speed in the pits.   Start it in the pits and then taxi the plane out between the yellow lines to run up the engine.

  14. When starting engines in pits, keep prop blast pointed away from other planes and spectators.

  15. All pilots should keep an eye on the frequency board to make sure there is not a three in a row problem.

  16. When the grass is being cut, please park all vehicles in the upper parking area, so they won't get hit by flying rocks.
    Pilots may fly during grass cutting at own risk.

  17. Do not start any aircraft on the pit tables, or under the shed.

  18. Both flying fields are restricted to aircraft only.

  19. Visitors are allowed to fly, provided they can provide proof of AMA Membership.

  20. CONTINUED DISREGARD AND ABUSE OF CLUB OR AMA RULES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP.
