May 2000 News by Jeff Stebane Well we made it through April. Thank God. It seemed to last forever. Well as most of you know we have a new drummer now. Things seem to be going very well at this time. Make sure to say hello to Randy and make him feel welcome. We had a great time playing at Slammers with the Fox. It was very cool getting some airtime on the radio. Make sure to check out all the other bands that will be at Slammers. I hope everyone saw the great article in the "Advance Titan" newspaper. It was the first time I have ever been interviewed before. If you would like to see a copy of the newspaper email me and I will try and send you a copy. We are really trying hard to finish up the first cd of ours. We are searching for a title presently, so if you have any ideas or maybe want to contribute some art work let us know. (This cd is a live compilation from past shows from the last year. We will have an all original cd out by the end of fall.) Twisters was a blast in Stephansville. When that bus load of girls pulled up to the club I new we would be in for a treat. If you didn't make it to this show you really missed a good one. Ahh, good ole "Wildhorses" I am so sorry to everyone that tried to see us at this show. She didn't call me until 2 days before the date to let me know that she went out of business. It is to bad that one bad club owner ruined it for everybody. I know there was quite a few of you who made the journey. I wish I could have returned a call to everyone that left a message. There was just way to many to return all of your phone calls. Riverz Edge is very, very sorry about that.
