A private room in the very centre of Prague for up to five people.

Just a few minutes' walk from the river and the historical centre of Prague. En-suite bathroom. Use of kitchen, including washing machine. Internet access.
	Extremely quiet and peaceful, despite the location. The bedroom looks onto a quiet courtyard: the only sound is that of the pigeons cooing in the loft opposite. I speak English, German, Czech, French and Hungarian. Very reasonable rates (see below). Several good restaurants and bars within 30 seconds' walk.
The kitchen offers a bread-making machine, a fridge, a gas cooker, a washing machine, and a CD-player.
	The en-suite bathroom is built to western standards.
The building was built around the time that Kafka was born.
Services In addition to all this, I can help to make your trip easier by: Lending you a guidebook and maps, showing you what to see and sorting out any little problems you might have during your stay. This is especially helpful for guests whose knowledge of Czech is limited. Giving you advice about what to see both in the Czech Republic and in other countries in the region. I have travelled extensively throughout Central and Eastern Erope. If necessary, arranging for someone to pick you up from the station or airport. This is included in the charge for guests staying at least a week, and is available to others for a small extra charge This will avoid your getting ripped off by taxi-drivers at the airport.

Notes

Because of exchange rate fluctuations, these rates may not work out the same. The US$ amount is definitive.
These rates are for a double room in a flat. You will be sharing the flat with one very quiet English-speaking couple (a poet, his Hungarian wife and their beautiful little child).
10% discount for people booking through Renata's Travel, Peterborough, Ontario.
Rates in the winter outside Christmas and New Year are negociable.
There is not really any limit to the number of people (apart from floor space), but there is only one double bed.
For a small extra charge, I can arrange for you to be picked up from the station or airport by a valet (included with bookings of at least one week).

How to book

To make a booking please email info@pragueroom.com. You can pay by cash in any Western currency, Czech Crowns or by credit card. There is heavy demand in the summer, so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
