FIFA 2001 is a great game for those people who love soccer and enjoy playing games. FIFA 2001 is currently the second best FIFA game behind FIFA 2002. The FIFA series are all enjoyable and require skill and determination to lead your chosen team to success in their league and beyond.
FIFA 2001 has three difficulty levels which can be adjusted to your playing ability. You can play with a team from one of many leagues around the world, from Holland to Spain and most of Europe. You can also play in the World Cup or even create your own league.
I personally believe that FIFA 2001 is a challenging game if your are playing with a team without many superstars and in professional or world-class difficulty. If you play with a team full of highly ranked players such as Manchester United, you will find that playing the game is very easy. This is because of the speed and skill of the players in the team.
Another good feature of FIFA 2001 is that when you play in the Champions League, the games become harder and harder as you progress no matter which difficulty level you are playing at.
In closing, I would like to say that the game has many challenges if you are willing to take them up. If you decide to play with a good club all the time, you are not experiencing the full potential of the game. I would rate this game 8½ out of 10, not 10 out of 10 because of the transfer system and 'no rewards' system for winning matches and titles.

CRITERIA RATING KEY
GRAPHICS refer to the graphical components of the game in game play and in menu interface.
SOUND refers to the quality of sound that the game produces in terms of clarity and options with it.
GAME PLAY/ OPTIONS is the rating for the user-friendliness of the game and options within the game itself.
PLAYABILITY is a rating based on how long the game can be played. eg. The higher the score, the better the game is because it will always be different every time you play it.
ACCURACY TO DETAIL is a rating for how accurate components (characters, clothing, surroundings) are.
