'A RISING STAR'

Parramatta City Sporting Club Inc and Sydney Crescent Star FC Inc are extremely pleased to announce the birth of PARRAMATTA STAR FC Inc - the new Elite Youth League joint venture.

The creation of this Elite Youth League club will service the greater Parramatta Area as well as residing within the historical boundaries of the Granville & Districts Soccer Football Association.

The formation of the alliance between these two proud clubs brings together many years of experience, knowledge and importantly the vital resources necessary to successfully compete in the new Elite Youth League football competition.

Parramatta Star will play all their home games at Lidcombe Oval, Lidcombe - the home of Sydney Crescent Star, 2003 Winter Super League premiers. They will train at Parramatta City's grounds of Eric Primrose Reserve, Rydalmere and Wilson Park, Silverwater. The playing strip colour will be all white, with an alternative strip of all black, adorning both club logos on the playing shirts.

As all other alliances before us, numerous hours of brainstorming, meetings and negotiations between both parties have taken place over the past few months in a bid to forge forward and realise Elite Youth football in the area.

With the co-operation of Soccer NSW, a new executive committee has been formed to oversee the running of this new entity. This executive committee will have full control of the new Elite Youth League club without interference from either parent organisation.

This alliance will focus on the development of its Youth League players, giving them the encouragement and opportunity to enhance their skills in order to reach their full playing potential.
