The American Herbalists Guild
A non profit educational association to represent the goals and voices of herbalists. The only peer review organization for professional herbalists specializing in the medicinal uses of plants. Is working to strengthen educational standards, ethics, and cooperative networking amongst herbalists. Promotes environmental awareness and serves as a liaison between herbalists, professional associations and regulatory agencies. Promotes further research, education and study of herbal medicine.
The National Center For Homeopathy
Established for the purpose of promoting homeopathy through education, publication, research and membership services. Has a national directory of homeopaths nationwide. Has a summer school where lay persons, doctors, nurses, veterinarians, and dentists can study homeopathic approaches to treatment.
United Plant Savers
A non profit, grass-roots membership organization dedicated to the conservation and cultivation of at-risk native medicinal plants. For herbalists and those who care about the future of endangered native medicinals. Works to identify at-risk species. Researches propagation and cultivation of at-risk medicinals, secures and operates botanical sanctuaries, replants and restores communities of at-risk medicinals in their native habitats, consults with growers to encourage sustainable land practices, raises public awareness of at-risk medicinals, works with the herbal products industry to increase awareness, networks with other green organizations.
