I created this site and message board after the no-porn message board was taken offline. Their message board has been back online for quite a while, and this site has been neglected for far too long. Since www.no-porn.com is doing an excellent job, I see no reason to keep this message board open. Listed here are support groups for people who deal with sexual
addictions... Links To Other Recovery Web Pages There are several web pages that I've found useful or enjoyable
as I learn to live with my addiction without being a slave to it... Why I Started This Message Board In the summer of 1999, I finally admitted that my use of pornography was
destroying my life. I decided to turn my life around but I had no idea how to
start. In searching the Internet for helpful resources, I came across the site
"Breaking Pornography Addiction" (http://www.no-porn.com).
This site had a wonderful support board, where addicts and loved ones could
share their struggles with the powerful addiction of pornography. Although the support board was anonymous and there were some amazingly
powerful stories there, I couldn't bring myself to posting my own message. I did
occasionally visit the site but never found the courage to post a message. Then, in September 2001, I found the courage. After giving a mini-testimony
at my local recovery group, I decided to post a message to the "Breaking
Pornography Addiction" support board. I was devastated to learn that the
WebMaster had taken the support board down. It didn't take me long to decide that I wasn't going to be stopped by bad
timing. So I decided to create my own Message Board and here it is. Soon I'll
give my own testimony. Right now, I'm still trying to build the site. Quotes, Cliches, & Acronyms for Recovery I recently found these on a web site named
