*Introduction
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon was a highly anticipated launch title for the Game Boy Advance. it's a great game, however some parts of this game can get tricky. So I decided to give away some of personal strategys to assist others on their vampire slaying ventures. If anybody has beaten Thief Mode, do you know if you get another code?

*Story
The year is 1830. In an ancient castle on the outskirts of the Austrian empire, a demon lord that would unite the powers of darkness was being resurrected at the hand of a friend yearning for chaos. At this demonic castle, Camilla, one of Dracula's minions, began the incantation of a ritual to bring her lord Dracula back to life. The vampire hunter Morris and his two apprentices, Nathan and Hugh, sensed an abnormality in the balance of nature and rushed to prevent Dracula's unholy reemergence. "That unholy monster must never return!" However, they arrived too late to prevent Dracula's return from his confinement. Dracula used his magical powers to imprison Morris, and cast Nathan and Hugh into a graveyard underneath the demonic castle. Together the two began to search through the castle in order to vanquish Dracula and rescue their master.

*Tips & tricks
1. First of all I suggest you print out a complete map showing item locations on this site. This way you'll know where you're going and where to find the stuff you'll need.
2.Whenever you are able to get a max increase item take the time to get it.
3. Save often.
4.Save whenever you get an item or card.
5.Find all the DSS cards in the current area you are exploring before leaving the area.
6.Watch your health, heart, and intelligence meters.
7.Use your DSS cards. Some of the best combinations are listed below.
Mercury + Serpent, Golem, Unicorn
Venus + Salamander, Serpent, Mandragora, Cockatrice, Manticore
Jupiter + Serpent, Mandragora, Golem, Unicorn
Mars + Mandragora, Unicorn, Black Dog
Diana + Salamander, Golem, Cockatrice, Thunderbird, Unicorn, Black Dog
Saturn + All Attribute Cards Are Good
Uranus + All Attribute Cards Are Good
Apollo + Serpent, Mandragora, Golem, Manticore, Griffon, Unicorn, Black Dog
8.When low on hearts combine Venus and Manticore to double the amount of hearts you collect.
9.When overwhelmed with attacks summon a beast with Uranus + Any Attribute Card to smite your enemys.
10.When going on an experience hunt battle Armors to get the most points, or see the Secrets section to find a tough enemy that will earn you 20,000 points for it's demise. The Devil is another good enemy to fight. Combine Cockatrice and Venus to get Exp. points while walking, or combine Mandragora and Pluto to get 20% more Exp. points for each beaten enemy.
11.My favorite sub-weapons are the Boomerang and the Stopwatch, however the Boomerang is the best of the two. Use the Stopwatch in places that require accurate jumping so the enemys won't interfere. Carry the boomerang with you into every boss battle, I don't care what Nintendo says about defeating Dragon Zombie with the Axe, I prevailed only with the use of my trusty boomerang! Here's the trick to give a lot of damage with the boomerang. When you throw it it wil go away from you and then move slower and slower until it finally stops at a space and spins for a second or two, before returning. You need to stay a decent distance away from the enemy and throw the boomerang so that when it reaches the end of it's flight path, before returning, it will spin on the enemy for a second or two inflicting major damage. This is how I beat the Dragon zombie, except I threw three at a time and when they retuned I jumped over them so they hit the other dragon as well.
12.Make sure you get these powerful and useful cards.
Serpent
Golem
Mandragora
Unicorn
Black Dog
Mercury
Venus
Jupiter
Uranus
Pluto
13.When choosing armor focus on what you'll be needing high stats in. If going into a boss battle you won't need to worry about luck. If your looking for items then keep your luck as high as possible. If your going into a boss battle and will be using a DSS shield then focus more on improving your Strengh than Defense.
Here's two valuable body armors:
Platinum Armor - Def. +60 Str. +50 Int. +10
Rainbow Robe - Def. +140 Int. +140 Luck. +15
14.Go on item hunts! Increase your luck to get more elusive items. Every enemy can drop one of two items.
15.When low on health and you can't get away to a save point without confronting more enemies combine Mandragora and Jupiter to revitalize your health while stationary.
16.Freeze the Brain Floats with the Mercury and Serpent cards and use them as platforms to jump to a max increase item.

*Boss Strategy
In general heres a few tactics that will defeat most enemies. Use your boomerang and use it's special trick listed as Number 11 under the tips and tricks section. Use Uranus + Any Attribute card to summon a beast to attack the boss. Repeat this tactic and you'll beat most bosses easily. When selecting armor don't worry about Luck. Use a DSS shield or use the DSS to make a powerful weapon. The stopwatch probably doesn't work on bosses, I haven't checked though. Have health recovering items with you. Make sure your at an appropriate level before battling. Most bosses you defeat earn you a magic item.
Cerebus Level 5+
When Cerebus turns blue it will jump at you or shoot electric balls. Throw the sub-weapon holy water, potion, at him when you can and attack with your whip! When he turns red get below or behind him and attack to avoid his laser. Beat him and go to the next room to get the Double.
Necromancer Level 10+
Dodge his projectiles and attack him. You might want to enable a shield. He sometimes will turn into a ball and bounce around, dodge it because he can't be damaged in that form. After you kill Necromancer a flying skeleton will appear, use the same techniques against him as you did Necromancer. Beating him will let you have the Tackle.
Iron Golem Level 15+
Create a powerful DSS weapon and grab the boomerang subweapon. Iron Golem moves slowly. He will slam his fists into the ground causing gears to fall from the roof, dodge them. He is able to regenerate his health but continue attacking him and use the boomerang trick and you'll beat'em. Smiting this mechanical menace grants you the Kick Boots.
Adramelech Level 20+
Activate a shield with the DSS and use the boomerang trick. He fires flaming skulls from his hands, which can be destroyed, and energy balls from his head, your shield can't protect you from these. Purple bubbles pop up at the floor that can be destroyed. Continually attack the head to kill him. After you beat him you'll gain access to a nearby area. Jump on the button in the area to destroy all the statues in the castle.
Dragon Zombie Level 25+
I suggest combining Jupiter and Serpent to activate a ice shield to inflict damage and using the boomerang. Position yourself on the lowest platform in the middle room both dragons's heads will come at you use the boomerang trick and jump over them when they return. Whip them when you get a chance. You can only damage their heads. After slaying this pair you'll get the Heavy Ring.
Death Level 30+
It fires indestructible balls of electricity and 3 spears that shoot out from its body. Equip a good DSS shield and use your whip and the boomerang trick. After you beat it Death will turn into a crawling mechanical monster. It will swing it's arms at you and slam the ground causing an earthquake, jump. Launch a barrage of boomerangs at him using my special trick to lay this beast to rest! After laying Death to rest you get Cleansing!
Camilla Level 35+
The one who set Drac free appears in her true form. She fires floating bubbles, and a damaging ray from the skull's mouth. Stay on the ledges and release a barrage of boomerangs and DSS weaponry at her, when she fires the laser jump to the floor and duck. When she meets her demise you will get Roc Wing.
Hugh Level 45+
Hugh's fused with Drac and is out to get you. Hugh's not extremely difficult to defeat. It's like battling yourself, so he's very predictable. Use a good shield and let him have it, use the boomerang trick. During the battle Hugh will get more power from Drac and move quicker. Continue your attacks until you've won the battle. Once done you'll get the Last Key.
Dracula Level 50+
1st Confrontation
Enter the Ceremonial room using the last key to confront the evil one. Equip a strong DSS weapon or Shield and grab your boomerang! He warps around the room and unleashes three different attacks. Once he has taken enough damage he will flee looking for more power. You can then save Morris Baldwin.
2nd Confrontation
Save your game and take the warp in the Ceremonial Room back to the final battle with Drac. Activate a DSS shield and carry your boomerang. You can only damage Drac when the eye on his chest is open. He'll first stand and attack. Jump up on a platform to avoid his laser. When he charges repeatedly use the Roc Wing to avoid his attack. Next he will turn into an eye surrounded by bats. You won't be able to hurt him then, but your shield will protect you. Continue on fighting and you will eventually prevail!

Hidden Enemas...Ooops I mean enemies:)
Lilith
A secret enemy which will earn you 20,000 Exp. points for its demise. Go to the really tall room at the west end of the Underground Wharehouse. Whip the wall below the highest exit to find a secret room. Inside you'll find Lilith and a Heart Max Increase!
Skeleton Medalist
Go to the Ceramonial room and jump down the pit that you fell down at the beginning of the game. Stay at the left side and continually whip the wall, you'll open up a secret area. Use the Roc Wing to fly back up to the hidden entrance. Enter to find a HP Max Increase. Jump and whip the ceiling to open up another hidden room containing the skeleton medalist. He may either drop a toy ring or a bear ring if you beat him.
Devil
He's not really hidden but is a very cool looking sprite and is only in 2 places. He's in the last room of the Battle Arena and he blocks the entrance to Drac.
