Vaaheguroo jee kaa Khaalsaa! Vaaheguroo jee kee Fateh!!

Gathka is held at the Gurdawara, free of charge. It is a martial art, but very much unlike any other that has originated in the orient. It is fun, and there is an introductory cardio session, which is basically to get you fit. Instructor Harpreet Singh and many of the clubs members have learned from, Gatka Master Uptej Singh, of the Baba Fateh Singh School of Gatka. This School of Gatka teaches the "Halivela" style of Gatka, and is one of the eight different Gatka schools in Punjab. Uptej Singh has two schools of Gatka, both in south, and east London respectively.

Those interested in the training sessions at the Baba Fateh Singh Akhara (Ottawa)
should note the change in timings.

We will continue to have two sessions a week as follows:
Wednesdays - 6pm - 7:30pm: This will be a faster paced session with minimal
instructions. The focus is fitness and combination moves.
You must have attended at least 12 sessions to attend.

Sundays - 3pm - 5pm: The focus here would be on technique, application and fun!
                                   Everyone is welcome.

The venue as always is the Ottawa Gurdwara (Upstairs hall).
