***Anouncement*** This page was created for a 11th Grade History Final Project back in 1997. This site is not a credible research source. I just recently discovered that many people were using the email address previously listed requesting more information on the AFL-CIO topic. I had completely forgotten about this email address and hadn't expected this site to be so widely used. I am not anywhere close to an expert on this topic and my knowledge is limited to what's posted on the site.

I have also recieved many requestes for reference information, which I will not release privately simply because the information on the site is a collection from other AFL-CIO sites. Everything listed here can be found somewhere else; those being much more credible places.

I contemplated about deleting this domain, but from the emails I've recieved the site is helpful to many people. Instead the email address has been removed.
