New Jersey Trail Ride Association (NJTRA) is a competitive horse club whose goal
is to promote the sport of competitive trail riding while protecting the welfare of horses. We are a member of the Eastern
Competitive Trail Ride Association(ECTRA) and have been organizing rides since the 1970s. Again this year,
NJTRA is proud to sponsor a wide variety of ECTRA sanctioned competitive trail rides and drives, training clinics and AERC/ECTRA
sanctioned endurance rides of varying distances.
The sport of competitive trail riding requires many volunteers. An event that
has 40 competitors needs almost as many volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about the sport of competitive
