Atsion Ranger Station
From the north- look for 206. If you are on the New Jersey Turnpike, take Exit 7
onto 206 South. Continue on 206 South to the Red Lion Circle. The Red Lion Circle is the intersection of Rts 70 and 206. Continue
on Rt 206 south. About 10 miles south of the Circle, after the 8 mile marker but before the 7, on the left is the Atsion
Rangers Station. There are big flat grassy fields with good footing. Look for designated parking areas for the ride.
From the south, it is easier and cheaper to use 295 instead of the New Jersey Turnpike.
Exit 295 on Rt 70 East, towards Medford. Stay on Rt 70 until the Red Lion Circle where it intersects with Rt 206. Go South
on 206 and follow the directions from above for more details.
If you are coming from the south on Rt 206, the ride site is about 1/2 mile after
the 7 mile marker on your right.
From the east, take route of choice (Rt 9, Garden State Parkway, etc.) to Rte 70W
to the Red Lion Circle and pick up Rt 206 south. Follow directions from the north for the details.
From the west, take route of choice (206,295, etc. to 70 E to Red Lion Circle and
take 206 south. Follow directions from the north for the details.
Batsto
Historic Batsto
Village is located on Route 542 in the Wharton State Forest, Washington Township,
Burlington County, New Jersey.
It is about 45 miles Southeast of Philadelphia and approximately 25 miles in a Westerly direction from Atlantic City. The nearest significant town is Hammonton,
NJ 08037 which is about 8 miles to
the West.
Directions from Philadelphia:
Walt Whitman Bridge Take
Walt Whitman Bridge
to North/South Freeway, Route 42, to Atlantic City Expressway.
Continue to Exit #2B (Hammonton). Exit to Route 54 & turn left. Go to the 4th traffic light and turn right onto Route
30 East (White Horse Pike). Go to the next light & turn left. Go the end of the road and turn left at the "T" intersection
onto Route 542. Go 9 miles and the Historic Batsto
Village is located on the left.
Tacony Palmyra Bridge: Take the Tacony Palmyra Bridge
to Route 73. Continue to Route 30 (White Horse Pike and and exit right to go East. Continue to a railroad overpass and then
drive to the 3rd traffic light (approximately 3 more miles), and turn left. Go to the next light & turn left. Go the end
of the road and turn left at the "T" intersection onto Route 542. Go 9 miles and the Historic
Batsto Village is located on
the left.
Directions from Garden State
Parkway
Garden State Parkway North: to Exit #50 (New Gretna), exit to Route 9 North to a Gulf Gas Station. Turn
left onto Route 542, continue for 12 Miles, Batsto Village is on the right.
Garden State Parkway South: to Exit #52 (New Gretna).
Turn right at stop sign onto E. Greenbush Road. Make
left at stop sign. Go over two small wooden bridges. Pilgrim
Lake Campground will be on Right. Make left onto Leektown Road. Continue 2 miles to a stop sign. Stay straight on Leektown Road. Continue 3 miles to stop sign. Turn right onto Route 542 West. Stay on
542 for approx. 9 Miles. Batsto Village
is on the right.
From Trenton/Mt. Holly Area: Take Route 206 South, to mile marker #3 where there is a Batsto Village Sign and make a left
onto Route 613. Continue on 613 to the next Batsto Village sign which indicates a left turn onto Rte 693 (Airport/Columbia Rd). Follow Rte 693 until the road ends at the third Batsto Village sign and make left onto 542,
the Village is down several miles on the left; look for three flag poles.
Brendon T Byrne State Forest (formerly Lebanon State
Forest)
From the North via. N. J.: Turnpike
Exit 7 to Rte. 206 S. to Rte. 70 E. to Rte. 72 E. Go to the 3-mile marker, at the ice cream parlor, and turn left into Park.
Parking area is 1.7 miles on the left.
From the South via. N.J.: Turnpike
Exit 4 to Rte 73 S. to Rte 70 E. to Rte. 72 E. Follow directions above. From the Garden State Parkway North: Exit 67, Barnegat to
Rte 554 West for approx 5 miles to Rte 72 West to mile marker 3, across from ice cream parlor, approx 6-7 miles. Turn right
into Park. Parking area is 1.7 miles on the left.

Route 206 South 17.5 miles to the Red Lion Circle
Continue South on 206 for approx. 9 miles to Atsion Road
Landmark is Pic-A-Lilli Bar ½ mile before.
Turn right onto Atsion Rd.
Continue 4.5 miles to Stop sign.
Straight through stop sign.
Farm is 400 yards on left.

Look for Atsion Lake
approximately 8 miles.
Left onto Atsion Road
Follow Atsion approx. 4.5 miles to Stop sign.
Follow Atsion 400 yards past stop sign.

From the West and Route 295.
Route 70 East
Continue on 70 around circle @ route 73
Continue east on Route 70 for approximately 12 miles.
Turn onto South 206 for approx.
9 miles to Atsion Road
Landmark is Pic-A-Lilli Bar ½ mile before on left.
Turn right onto Atsion Rd.
Continue 4.5 miles to Stop sign.
Straight through stop sign.
Farm is 400 yards on left.
Kowboy Korral
From the North via New Jersey
Turnpike: Get off the NJ Turnpike at Exit 7 onto Rt. 206 south. Continue on Rt. 206 to Rt. 70 East (at Red Lion Circle).
Take Rt. 70 east to Rt. 72 (Four-Mile Circle), and
then take Rt. 72 east. Continue 3 miles to Rt. 563 and turn right. Stay on Rt. 563 through the town of Chatsworth. After the fire station on the right, continue 11 miles to the sign for Kowboy
Korral on the left.
From the North via the Garden State Parkway: Get off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 67 -Barnegat. Proceed on Rt. 554 West to Rt. 72 west. Get
on Rt. 72 west and make a left onto Rt. 532 into Chatsworth. In the center of Chatsworth make a left onto Rt. 563. Go 11 miles
to the sign for Kowboy Korral on the left. From the South: It is easier (and cheaper) to use Interstate 295 instead of
the New Jersey Turnpike. Exit I-295 on Rt. 70 east (towards Medford).
Stay on Rt. 70 to Rt. 72 (Four-Mile Circle) where
you pick up Rt. 72 east. Follow directions from above.
Mount Misery
Mt. Misery Mt. Misery Retreat Center 801 Mount Misery Rd. Browns Mills, NJ 08015 From the West: Take
the route of your choice (ie Rtes. 206, 295 etc) to Route 70 E and head East to the junctions of Rtes. 70 & 72. This is
called the Four Mile Circle. From the circle, continue on Rte. 70 E for 3.9 miles to Mount Misery Rd on your right (just past
the 30 mile marker). Turn right onto Mount Misery Road and travel 3/4 of a mile to the camp. Parking for the horse trailers
is on the left. From the East: Take the route of your choice (ie Rte. 9, Garden State pkwy, etc.) to Rte. 70 W and head
West to the junction of Rtes. 70, 530 & 539 (Exxon, Wawa & traffic light). From the junction continue West on Rte.
70 for approximately 8.5 miles to Mount Misery Road (just past the Country Lakes turn off on your right and the 31 mile marker).
Turn left onto Mount Misery Rd. and travel 3/4 of a mile to the camp. Parking for the horse trailers is on the left.
Washington Crossing State Park - Hopewell, NJ
From Route 95 (in NJ) take Route
579 north (Bear Tavern Road). The park entrance is on the left after the intersection with route
546. It is the group camping site of Washington Crossing State Park.
NOTE: Route 295
north turns into 95 south about 8 miles before crossing into PA.
Miller Air Park
From the south via 295 - Exit at route 70 east toward Marlton; continue east on route 70 approximately 30 miles to light at
route 530-539, just past mile marker 38. Turn right at light and make immediate left onto route 530 toward Keswickand Toms
River. Follow 530 for 6 miles and turn right into Miller Airpark. From the north via NJ Turnpike onto Garden State
Parkway - From turnpike, take parkway south to exit 11. Continue down parkway and exit 88 for route 70 west toward Lakehurst
and Camden. Just past mile marker 39 turn left at traffic light by Exxon station onto routes 530/539. Make immediate left
to stay on route 530 toward Keswick and Toms River. Follow 530 for 6 miles and turn right into Miller Air Park.
Pine View Farm
From the North via New Jersey Turnpike: Get off the NJ Turnpike at Exit
7 onto Rt. 206 south.** Continue on Rt. 206 South past the Red Lion Circle (Route 70 & 206 junction--Red Lion Diner).
Follow Route 206 shortly past the 12 mile marker. and turn right onto South Rt. 648 (Willow Grove Rd.) (Shamong Diner is on
the corner). Go 4/10ths of a mile to the Stop sign. Take Rt. 620 East (Burnt House Road). (There are two lefts here, the soft
left is Burnt House Rd.) Pine View Farm is 5/10ths mile on the left. Mailbox has #40/Balke. Turn left into the driveway and
left again into the field for trailer parking. From the north via NJ Turnpike onto Garden State Parkway - From turnpike,
take GS Parkway South to exit 11. Continue down parkway to Exit 88 for Route 70 West toward Lakehurst and Camden. Follow Route
70 to Route 206. Take Route 206 SOUTH. Follow directions from * * above. From the South: It is easier (and cheaper) to
use Interstate 295 instead of the New Jersey Turnpike. Exit I-295 on Rt. 70 East (towards Medford). Stay on Rt. 70 to Route

From the East: Take the route of your choice (ie
Rte. 9, Garden State pkwy, etc.) to Rte. 70 W to Route 206 (Red Lion Diner). Follow directions from * * above
Whitesbogs
Rte. 70 E from the circle (70 & 72), go approximately 6 miles. Turn
left onto rte. 530 (530 joins rte.70 at a sharp angle from the left just past the 33 mile marker). Go approx. 1 mile and make
a right turn just past the 13 mile marker. Follow road to just before the stop sign and the field is on the left.
From 70W look for Rte 539 and Rte 70 intersection (Exxon and Wawa). Continue on Rte 70W. Rt. 530 will be on your right
a few miles down the road. Turn right onto rte. 530 (mile marker 33). Go approx. 1 mile. Make a right turn just past the mile
marker 13. Follow road just before the stop sign and the field is on the left
