Come and relax in the mountains of North Carolina.We have a one BEDROOM one bath vacation home that is fully furnished. This home is located in Brevard County, North carolina.There is plenty of activity for the family or a cozy enviroment for you to get away and relax.Our home is in the charming community of Sherwood Forest located southwest of Hendersonville, just north of the South Carolina border. Brevard is a wonderful town with lots of charming amenities.
There is no charge for any of the activities ( except golf )
We have a community pool and recreation center with tennis courts,volleyball courts, and ping pong for you and your family.There is a golfcourse located in the community that is open year round. 5 lakes for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. Within a short distance, we have Horseback riding, river rafting, Sliding Rock, Hiking trails, Two championship golfcourses, The Biltmore House and Gardens, Pisgah National Forests, and SC Ceasers Head State Park.

The house has one bedroom and one bathroom available, but sleeps four and views 265 acres of forest. There is a old fashion wood fireplace in the family room and an outdoor fireplace on the back deck. Beautiful hardwood floors and ceramic tile are throughout the house. Color TV's and a VCR are located in the family room and master bedroom. We have a supply of approximately 80 family oriented tapes available for your entertainment. The kitchen is supplied with utensils as well as a dishwasher.We have a screened in porch out back that is great for dining. Maid service is provided after your departure.
The town can offer all of the specialty stores, grocery, theatre, restaurants, and shopping. There are some great restaurants in town with a variety of entree's. If you like shopping, you will love the Antique and Specialty stores. Brevard College offers a variety of concerts and plays. The Brevard Music Center is famous for its Summer Program with artists from all over the world.

Sherwood Forest is enviromentally sensitive area and I have a chemical sensitivity problem called MCS so any chemicals that could damage plants, animals, or wildlife are strictly forbidden.We use all natural or safe cleaning products, we do not have any carpet in the house, I have a chemical free mattress,chemical pesticides are not allowed in our yard or any where in the community, and we only clean with natural or safe cleaners ( vineger, baking soda, ect... ). The Sherwood Forest community tries to keep the forest as undisturbed as humanly possible.We are an official Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary.
