Here's a drawing of myself with my geese friends. You may wonder why I refer to myself as the goose girl. Well, one day my friend Ellswyth informed me that I needed a nickname. I wasn't the fondest of nicknames. Being recently married, I had taken to just writing my initials GSE. Between that and hailing from the grand state Michigan where the natives are referred to as Michiganders, it wasn't long that I took on the nickname of Goose. I have enjoyed it immensely, and then remembering my fondness for fairy tales, I remembered a favorite, and here I am, the goose girl. |
