CECIL MOZZELL(E) - Private 5066, 20th Tn., Australian Infantry, AIF, who died on Thursday, 1st March 1917, aged 24. Son of Mary Catharine Grant (formerly Mozzell(e), of 9 Charlecot Street, Dulwich Hill, New South Wales, the the late Thomas Richard Mozzell(e), native of Sydney, New South Wales (Thomas Richard Muzzall, emigrant from Sussex). ALFRED MUZZELL - Private G/1224, 2nd Bn, Royal Sussex Regiment, who died on Sunday, 9th May, 1915. Son of Stephen and Amelia Muzzell of 47 Upper High Street, Worthing. Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, Panel 20 and 21.

STANLEY JOHN HERBERT MUZZELL - Lance Corporal, 67, 1st Regiment, South African Infantry, who died on Thursday, 12th April, 1917, aged 26. Son of Thomas William and Mary Ann Sophia Muzzell, of 5 Harrow Road, Paddington, London.  (see also P.T.W. Muzzell above)

ALFRED WILLIAM MUZZELL - Gunner, 902141, 98 (The Surrey and Sussex Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, who died on Sunday, 6th August, 1944, aged 29. Son of Alfred and Mary Muzzell, of Hove, Sussex; husband of Edna Sybil Muzzell of Hove. Florence War Cemetery, Italy. IG16.

CHARLES EDWARD MUZZELL - Leading Stoker, P/KX 81824, HMS Esk, Royal Navy, who died on Sunday, 1st September, 1940. Son of Thomas and Lou Muzzell of Ashurst, and husband of Olive Muzzell of Steyning, Sussex. Portsmouth Navel Memorial, Hampshire, UK, Panel 41, column 3.  (see Ashurst Family Tree)

CHARLIE MUZZELL - Private, B/48920, Governor General's Foot Guards, RCAC, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, who died on Sunday, 7th January, 1945, aged 38.
