Meet the Artist

World Famous Artist Rembrandt P. Muffie

Rembrandt P. Muffie resides in North East, Pennsylvania, and has a special love of Native American culture, trains, and wildlife.  His father was an adopted member of the Sioux tribe, and was given the name Eta-Wasta (Good Face).

His father and grandfather traveled extensively out West and became close personal friends of many of the Native American chiefs, Buffalo Bill Cody, and many other dignitaries, which explains the artist's interest in the Sioux Indians.

Rem prefers to paint with oils because of their rich color and his ability to work with them. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and working to restore railroad cars at the local Railroad Historic Society. The paintings shown at this site illustrate Rem's love for the canvas, and a limited number are available as signed and numbered prints.

If you'd like more information, or would like to order a print, please contact Rem via e-mail.
