Served on general cargo, refrigerated vessels and oil tankers. Travelled to Europe, UK, North & South America, Middle and Far East as well as Africa.

1976 - 1979 : South African Airways - Cabin attendant.

Served on local flights within SA and neighboring states in (Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe,

Malawi), as well as international flights to Europe, UK, North and South America, Far East and Australia.

1980 : Sabi Sabi Game Lodge - Game ranger.

Taking guests on game drives in open land-rovers and walks in the bush.

1981 - 2002 : Computer Industry - various companies & roles

Personal : Only vice of note was motorcycling until flattened in an accident in 1983. Sold off touring, commuting and racing bikes as well as sidecar outfit.

Married Anne, ex pharmacist and programmer in 1989. Four children - Ramona (18) studying Actuarial Science at Wits, Shane (11) primary school sport fanatic, Liam (9) primary school and Gauteng gymnast, Teagan (5) pint sized hooligan.

When living at the coast was actively involved with NSRI as crew and operations controller, these days

activities are limited to fundraising and occasional presentations about NSRI membership to

Living in Lonehill after re-locating back to Johannesburg from Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Phalaborwa. Leisure time spent with the family boating, skiing, bass fishing and quad biking at a holiday cottage in Magoebaskloof.
