Steve Boado is an Elvis Tribute Artist who got his start more than thirteen years ago in the fall of 1990. Steve entered a costume contest at the worlds famous Pat O'Briens in New Orleans and won first place! Though Steve was a fan of Elvis and rockabilly music he never had an outlet to express it like he did that night. "After that I was hooked - the crowd went absolutely crazy! I must have taken a thousand photos that night." This was a turning point for Steve. He then started performing at private parties and even landed a spot at the Houston Livestock Show BBQ Cook-off. Things really started rolling after going to work for Eastern Onion doing singing telegrams. Soon other agencies began calling him for work. Steve has had the great fortune of opening shows for some big name Texas artists like The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joe Ely, Roy Head, and legendary Vegas singer and Houstonian Dean Scott. "One of the biggest highlights of my career as an entertainer was performing overseas in Norway for two private companies, there were people from all over the world and I really got the star treatment." In addition to being international, Steve has been the resident Elvis for Chuy's Mexican Restaurant since 1995.
The Elvis Forever Show consists of recorded music with live vocals in a tribute to the King of Rock N' Roll. The set features music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's presented in the unique style of Presley's 70's concerts. This show would be an exciting addition to any party, wedding, club, banquet meeting, or reunion. Steve's performances are dedicated to preserving the music and memory of Elvis with dignity and respect.
