Abolitionist Legislator to Speak in Columbia
Sen. Ernie Chambers (D-Omaha) with the Nebraska legislature, will speak at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14 in Fisher Aud. of Gannett Hall on the University campus in Columbia. Under Chambers’ veteran leadership the legislature passed a moratorium bill last year (although the governor later vetoed the measure). For more details call John Galliher (443-3757).
