Please keep in mind and/or pray for James Hampton, Bert Hunter, Gary Roll, George Harris and Jim Chambers—along with their grieving loved ones. We also mourn for the men and women they were convicted of killing, and the people who continue to grieve their violent passing. If you are aware of someone who has lost a loved one through murder (committed by the person or the state) please reach out to them, offering unconditional support to help with their healing. FOR’s Jeff Stack sadly witnessed the execution of Jim Chambers in November as a way to support Jim’s family as they faced the reality of tax-funded murder. The experience was profoundly horrific…the pain of the Cham-ber’s family, especially that endured by Darlene, Jim’s wife…the clinical precision of the killing process…and the hate perpetuated by our state’s murderous policy. Please read Jeff’s moving reflections of this painful experience.
Letters of condolence can be sent to: Darlene Chambers; c/o Alma DeClue; Rt. 1 Box 1510; Cadet MO 63630. Checks to help cover the cost of Jim’s burial can also be written out to her and sent there or you can write one out to “Moore Funeral Home" (earmarked for "Jim Chambers' funeral expenses") and send it to the mortuary at 105 Clark St.; Potosi MO 63664.
