Concert in Dallas

The Music- In Dallas, she performed to a sold out crowd under the stars in a tree-filled courtyard, and couldn't have been any better. She made her entrance to the stage from the crowd of fans, wearing leather pants, a leotard top, and a blonde suede jacket, which was shed quickly in the mild night air. Her just-above-the-shoulder haircut is really flattering and Martha had no qualms about swinging her hair around during her songs! Each song was delivered with tremendous enthusiasm as she danced through all her selections, and interspersed some As The World Turns comments to admiring fans all throughout the show. At one point, she asked fans to raise their hands if they were "happy about Damian coming back (his appearance is due to air June 20). This didn't get a rise. "Who's upset about Damian coming back?" Apparently many people because hands waved high. But the crowd cheered and waved wildly when asked "Who wants to see Lily and Holden back together?"  Then she delighted fans by saying the next song, "I'll Remember You" by Sarah McLoughlin, is one she sang to Holden on screen and was recorded Friday, May 9, airing in three weeks -- and what a scorcher song it was! It sounds like Holden's going to have some 'splainin' to do soon! Look for Lily to sing to him in the Falcon Club on June 6th.  When Martha told fans that she sang at Cal and Connor's wedding, and at her own "ahem... wedding" with Diego, she began to say that she's waited 12 years to marry Holden (it was Heather Rattray who married Holden in 1990). "When will I ever learn... Molly's out of jail and living in my house... and WHO got her out of jail??" The crowd laughed with her, but Martha also promised that the fans of Holden and Lily won't be disappointed in the coming weeks. May 23rd and 26th were to be the days where Lily and Holden finally get past all the disruptions and into each others' arms. It was even referred to by a popular magazine editor as the "Lion King Love Scene!" I think it's time that ATWT re-opened The Cellar and
let Martha sing her heart out to Oakdale's hidden University crowd!
