Between 5,000 and 6,000 women attended her 3-day schools each autumn in Oklahoma City.
Aunt Susan aboard the French luxury steamship Normandie in 1935. The Daily Oklahoman sent her
all over this country, to Alaska and to England and France in search of fresh material for her columns and cooking schools.

kitchens.
Aunt Susan pioneered food broadcasting on both radio and television. She beat Julia Child to televised food
demonstrations by over thirty years!
After Aunt Susan traded Oklahoma City for New York, she changed her professional name to Susan Adams. Here she publicizes
her only cookbook,
now a prized collector’s item.
