New Likhaan.com beta site up
QUEZON CITY - Likhaan.com, the official online home of the University of the Philippines Diliman Creative Writing Center, has undergone a facelift.
   Lara Saguisag, Alvin Dacanay, April Yap and Ganns Deen, are the new faces behind Team Likhaan, the creative forces behind Likhaan.com. Deen, the new webmaster, takes over from Gio Tavanlar, who had been handling the website for the past two years. Overseeing the Team as adviser is Dr. Cristina Pantoja-Hidalgo.
   The new look of Likhaan.com employs the CWC's color scheme of rich blues and bold yellows. The Flash navigation bar on the left side of each screen allows Likhaan visitors to travel through the site's areas, of which there are currently five: issues (previous issues of the Likhaan.com online literary folio), links to some of the Philippines' recommended literary sites), about us (information about the Creative Writing Center), contact information, and the Likhaan guestbook.
   Future plans include book reviews, polls and regular columns from some of the Philippines' most respected writers.
