Al-Sadoon, "Iraq Daily" EIC, delivers journalism talk

QUEZON CITY - Nasra Al-Sadoon, Editor-in-Chief of the Iraq Daily, delivered a talk on journalism last August 17, 2001, at the University of the Philippines Diliman campus here.
   Al-Sadoon is a novelist, political and economic writer, and Director-General of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture and Information.
   Born in 1946, she has published more than three novels, including the critically-acclaimed debut, "If the Shades Persist" (1986). The trilingual Al-Sadoon has translated at least three books, and produced more than eight studies, with topics ranging from industrial feasibility to the situation of Iraq during the United Nations Sanctions.
