This building was built by Twillingate residents in 1868 to replace the first Methodist church destroyed by fire in some year. After being used as the South Side United Church for 61 years, the last service was held in 1987. It is now used to display church artifacts and relate items of historical culture significance. It is also being used on occasions as a community concert centre and is open to visiters during July and August. It may be visited at other time by contracting any members of the Northern Church Heritage Association.
