The Lazy Girls' Gourmet Guide

The Recipes MMM....Food.  I love food.  I love the colors, the smells, the textures.  I love to shop for food, and I love to eat food.
I really love to cook food.  I even like to think I'm pretty good at it.  But, I am not a chef.  I don't go around making my own sauces and breads and fois de blahblah.  My sauces
come from cans, and the only bread I can make is flat bread.
(Even that was supposed to be a pizza).
I like to do one thing at a time.  If a recipe involves more than one pan then it doesn't involve me.  How then, you might ask, can I be such a great cook?  Give me a nickel and I'll tell you my secret is fresh produce.  Its pretty simple.
The sauces might come from a can, even the crusts come pre-made, but nothing else does.  I don't cook with meat, so that leaves the elysian fields of the produce department as my playground.  From fresh zucchini and portabellas to fresh basil, cilantro and mint.  Its not hard to throw stuff together and come away with good food.  All you need is a kitchen, a little imagination and some good recipes.  That's why I'm here.  So welcome to this lazy girl's guide to good food.

Where you'll never have to braise, baste or deglace.  Guaranteed to be slacker compatible.
