Kovu's past is unclear. I'm not certain that he's Zira's biological son or not, though it's pretty likely. He's not Scar's son, but he looks like him and is expected to take after him. Kovu as a cub is a scrappy little fighter, trained to be tough and a killer, but he has a built-in kind heart. After Kiara and Kovu bump into each other in the Outlands, they quickly strike up a friendship. Their playing comes to an end, though, as Simba and his pride show up to protect Kiara against the "evil" outsiders, and they are seperated until a later date. His voice is kinda cool, especially at the part where Zira brings him back to her pride and she's asking him all those questions. It's just really cute and cuddly.

Ryan O'Donahue-Voice

Adult Kovu is a complicated character. For all of his life, he has been trained by Zira to hate and kill Simba. Yet, in his heart he knows that this is wrong and that he cannot follow in Scar's footsteps. Kiara and Kovu fall in love soon after they meet, complicating matters further becuse of Simba's distrust of anyone having anything to do with Scar. Eventually, Kovu makes the right decision and helps to unite the two prides and end the bloodshed. Voice is pretty standard, but good.

Jason Marsden-Voice

Jason is a pretty much a newcomer to the movie industry, but has already made a good go at it. He acted in the nifty-if-cheesy movie Robot Jox, Almost an Angel, and White Squall. He was also the voice of Max in A Goofy Movie. I never knew that!
