We Love You Aunt Mable
In nineteen hundred and seventy two
You got us all together,
We promise to have a "Family To Do",
Regardless of the weather
They came from near and from far
Though some were not able,
We love each other for what we are
And we'll always love you Aunt Mable.
You had a vision, some might say
It must have been from God,
We've pushed ourselves all the way
No rest, no sleep, not even a nod.
Here we are 16 years later
In the State of Michigan,
Out of all the Reunions, there is no greater
For we are Kin and Friend.
We are a long way from where we started
In a state called "Ole Miss.",
Thank God we haven't parted
We are having a Ball, what a bliss.
When the Reunion days are over
And faces we'll no longer see,
As we pass over God's fields of clover
On our way to Eternity.
We will love you then Aunt Mable
Though the clock will be striking eleven,
Hold God's hand, He is able
And we will see you again in Heaven
