KUROORAMMA 4

Vilwamangalam reached Amma’s place. Kurooramma got very excited. Amma wanted Unni to welcome Swamy while she hid herself behind the door. That was the custom of Namboodiri ladies. They were not supposed to look at other men or talk directly to them. What they did was to put somebody in the between and converse through them. Swamy did not recognize the true form of Unni. (He couldn’t see him as God).

Swami entered into that purified house with joy. He got ready for the pooja. Arrangements were perfect. Everything looked very graceful. The God himself in the form of Unni did it. No need to say how holy it was!

Swami finished the first step of pooja. (purifying one’s body with the manthras).Then he worshiped the seat supposed for the God.Next he started invoking the God with flowers. The mischievous Unni was standing before him. The devotees tried to get him out of the way. They couldn’t. Swami’s flowers fell on Unni.Swami opened his eyes. He saw only Unni. He pushed Unni aside and invoked on God again. All the flowers he offered fell on Unni’s feet again. The pious Swami understood that the naughty Unni who was with Kurooramma was God himself. Swami,s eyes filled with tears of joy. He started to worship Unni. The devotees thought Swami got excentric. Soon they realized that the fact through their intense devotion. Swami respected and bowed to Kurooramma.The God made Amma immersed in him.
