The Morrígan is a goddess of battle, strife, and fertility. Her name translates as 'Phantom Queen,' which is entirely appropriate for Her. The Morrígan appears as both a single goddess and a trio of goddesses, which includes the Badb 'Vulture' and Nemain 'Frenzy'. The Morrígan frequently appears in the ornithological guise of a hooded crow. She is one of the Tuatha De Danann (People of the Goddess Danu) and She helped defeat the Firbolgs at the First Battle ofMagh Tuireadh and the Fomorii at the Second Battle of Mag Tured.

By some accounts, She is the consort of the Dagda, while the Badb and  Nemain are sometimes listed as consorts of Néit, an obscure war god who is possibly Nuada the Sky Father in His warrior aspect. It is interesting to note that another battle goddess, Macha, is also associated with Nuada.

The history of my nickname - Jumpher as explained by Me.

When my little sister was learning to talk, she could not say my name....it came out (jum' fer).  It stuck.  My Dad has always called me Jumpher and spelled it this way.....

So, now you know....

Welcome to my world
Cross this bridge and
Inside you'll find someone special they say
She is a Fixer
When your heart is broken and trust is gone
She is the quiet one who teaches you to trust
The one who makes your heart ache less everyday
She is Me
One at a time they come to me, broken and hurt, untrusting and doubtful
And as I see their souls,

I fall in love with who they Could be
I support and love and cherish as they learn to love again
Soon, he will leave me
When my strength is low, when I need him
As perhaps you left me before
So if you come this way and the door is closed
I'm sleeping off another heartbreak
If the doors are open, come on in
For I've not given up just yet
I lose a little with each tear
And the wall grows a bit higher around me
But don't fear, reachable I may be
So come on and cross the bridge
Let's begin another heartache as we mend yours
