Eunice's mother was Isabella Graves Henderson, the daughter of Isabella Delphia Lea and Joseph Henderson.

Eunice's father was Joshua Calloway, whose family goes back to Thomas Callaway, who arrived in Virginia from Cornwall in 1665.
