"How I discovered Michael" By Teresa Cigic Virginia, USA Ah, yes, Michael, what a treasure! Well, I've told one person this story already, but I am MORE than happy to let everyone know how I discovered such an invaluable treasure. During my 8th grade year I took Music Appreciation. I had the best teacher ever (I had him every year in high school) and he showed us the 10th anniversary concert of Les Miserables. All of a sudden this man started singing "Lamarque is ill and fading fast, won't last the week out so they say." Then he came on "Had you been there tonight you might know how it feels to be struck to the bone in a moment of breathless delight." All I could do and think and feel was "Who is this angel?" And I've been an admirer of his ever since. I respect him, love him, and admire him, he has so much talent--more talent than most can ever know. He really is an amazing person and I am so overjoyed to be on this mailing list so I can talk to other incredible people who recognize a treasure when they see one. - Teresa -

Sorry, forgot about the feelings. When Marius walked onto the stage I developed tunnel vision, heart palpitations, selective hearing, and an insatiable need to rewind, slow-mo, and freeze frame. The long term effects have been an inability to appreciate any other music (no matter how hard I try), inability to keep a train of thought going for more then 30 min. without a Michael intermission, and on a serious note, my heart stirred with new life that I thought it was no longer capable of. In other words, just another Michael basket case! :-) Linda Z
