BallfestNews Mailing List - Dateline March 14, 2000

We have had another Ballfest wedding - this time in Manila, Philippine Islands! A long-time friend (Richard Sy-Facunda) was married on Sunday, March 5th and is now in Los Angeles with his lovely bride, Leslie. They will be coming to Seattle in early April prior to going on to NY and Florida. Richard and I "met" via the MB amulation list and have been best friends for about three years now. We are also long-time "Jekyll & Hyde" fans, as is Leslie, and with luck, they will arrive here in time to see "Scarlet Pimpernel" with our Seattle group!

I guess my point is that being an MB fan can take you in all sorts of directions. Richard's sister Gigi was married in December, and MB recordings were played at the reception, introducing lots of people to Michael's music, and I am certain there was more played at Richard and Leslie's wedding/reception! Our Seattle Ballfest will include seeing Douglas Sills in "Scarlet Pimpernel" but all of us met originally by belonging to one or both Michael Ball mailing lists.

Leslie and Richard were married on March 5, 2000

in Manila, Philippine Islands. They honeymooned

in the US and spent 5 days in Seattle, Washington,

where they visited us, saw "The Scarlet Pimpernel

and joined us for a Seattle Ballfest Dinner.
