Review

This EP is the little brother of the MK-70 40mm. It is also a 2in. Konig design.  I had to get it after using the 40mm and loving it.  This UO EP sells for $179 another bargain like the 40mm for $200.  To get this can of performance one would have to get the 27 mm panoptic that cost around $340.  So this is a poor mans version of the 27mm pan.  This EP performs almost as good as the 27 pan but is a little softer around the edges.  I can live with it.  On the Bob Hart scale I rate this EP an 8.5 FROM 1 TO 10.  The only problem is this EP needs a lot of in travel to focus.  On my f/6 scope with a JMI low profile it is almost in all the way' while the 40 mm is almost out all the way.  Which if you have a helical you will be turning a lot.  But over all another good EP from UO. But not quite as good as the 40 mm and the 27mm pan.  Thanks Bob Hart
