This is Casey's dear Bridge Angel friend Marshall Harrison who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on May 23, 2000. Prior to this his human mom wrote the following about him:
Marshall is a very senior English Springer Spaniel who lives in St.
Catharines, Ontario, Canada. What do you think of when you hear the word
Canada? Snow! We have snow here, off and on for 6 months, from Halloween Night
to the end of April and get at least three heavy duty blizzards each
winter.
We miss you Marshall. You were a very special cyber friend of ours. You will always be in our hearts.
Marshall is in heaven when it snows. He hates the hot and humid summers we
get, but when winter rolls around he suddenly becomes years younger! It is
always fun to watch his reaction to the first snowfall of the year. Marsh will
wander out onto the snow-covered deck, suddenly raise his head high and sniff
the air. Then his tail starts wagging and he runs down the stairs and out
into the yard.
Marshall burrows little tunnels in the snow across the back yard . We get
lots of rabbits at night, so in the morning, Marsh puts his nose to the ground
and proceeds to track rabbit. This leaves long, winding trenches, and hundreds
of footsteps across the snow. Our neighbour's yards look as fresh as the
new-fallen snow. Our yard looks like the doggy version of Woodstock took
place!
Marshall thinks snow is great for; eating, rolling on, diving into, making
yellow marks in, tunneling through, catching (as in snowballs), and collecting
(on ears and feet)! Thanks Casey, for making Marshall one of your Snow
Friends. He loves you almost as much as he loves snow!!!
