One cop goes into the cabin to check it out. He looks around and sees a severed hand, then he gets eaten by one of those ugly lookin creatures.  The creature is shot several times (not in the head though) he falls over the side of the boat. Anne comes into the picture now,(her father was the owner of the boat) she hasn't seen her father in a long time so she decides to go to the Caribean island of Matool, or as i like too call it "ZOMBIE island". On their boat trip to the island of Matool there is a battle with a shark and one of the zombies! -who do you think wins? When they arrive at Matool they meet a man name Dr. Menard, the doctor was trying to find a reasonable, scientific explanation for the cause of those zombies. But the natives say voo-doo is making the dead come back to life. Dr. Menard lived in a very nice house with his mega hot wife whos gruesomly killed by the zombies. She first gets a nice big splinter in her eye.  When Peter, Anne, and the sailors go to the house they saw the Doctors wife being eaten by four zombies. So the four people run away... but at the door 3 zombies stood waiting to eat them. So the ship owner thinks fast and clobbers them with sculpture. They get in the jeep and drive away as fast as they can, and they dont look back at that house. While they're flyin down the road they hit a zombie, veer out of control and ride straight into the rain forest.  They hit a tree, and blow the carbirator. Peter also messed up his ankle in the crash. So they are four people in the middle of the jungle with zombies everywhere, its getting dark and they are looking for the hospital where the doctor is. While they are walkin through the woods they stop and take a rest. But what they dont know is that the sat down at a grave yard. Peter looks to his right, what does he see? He sees a grave. A hand reaches out of the ground... grabs his bad ankle and rips a nice hole in that sucker. A zombie comes out of the ground (the cute lookin one at the top of this page) and eats the neck of the boat captain wife, leaving her a bloody mess. While the zombie feasts on her the captain walks over and gives it a nice clobber to the head, leaving him without one. So they start walking away from that place, and they finally come to the hospital. The three of them enter the hospital and meet up with the Doctor. A bunch of zombies are walking down the path towards the hospital door. So the door is locked and baricaded. The doctor starts filling up bottles of kerosine. While he's getting his guns for this little battle they are goin to fight, he is eaten by one of those horrible creatures. The doctor is now dead. Peter West goes into the room where the doctors corpse is laying and he shoots the zombie which killed the doctor. Two more zombies awaken in the hospital and they kill the nurse. Those two zombies are killed by Peter and the captain. So Anne, Peter, and the Captain are left alone in the hospital with a ton of zombies sourding the house and brakeing the door down. When the zombies finally break the door down, bottles of flaming kerosine are thrown at them. When the hospital is about to burn the three people run out the back door... as you would probally of guessed there are zombies waiting for them. They kill the zombies and get the hell out of there. But wait. What ever happened to the Captains wife? Shes now a zombie and when the captain walks in front of her, he wusses out and he can't kill her, so the captain gets bitten in the arm. The captain tells Peter to kill her, so he does.  Anne, Peter, and the Captain(who is slowly turning into a zombie) go onto the ship. It is now the next day and they are sailing away. The captain feels cold, so he's locked in the cabin for when they get back to the States they have proof of all this happening.  Peter turns on the radio and from New York a radio broadcaster says New York is over come with zombies (oh yea, the one on the ship who wasnt shot in the head and only fell off the ship).  I wonder if the officer is kicking himself for not shooting it in the head?</div> <div>  </div> <div> Zombie is so gruesome that when this movie was put in theatres, there was a disclaimer saying..."This movie has explict content in it, in the lobby you can recieve a 'barf bag" like the ones on an airplane.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> -Mike</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
