The Songs About Living are eleven in counting. Nine officially and two "hidden". Mikael recorded these songs at home in eight months after the decision was made to release his music. Some of the songs were the first he ever wrote and some had already been recognized by the press through a Homeland demo-tape that had been circulated. On this album Mikael is reminiscing lost friends, long summer nights, old and newfound love and embodies it all in sweet acoustic melodies. Harmony vocals is a significant feature. And sometimes all-instrumentals emerge to stretch the formula and complete the beautiful Songs About Living.
