Life in Furcadia

By Binc

From the first time we enter Furcadia we are filled with a whimsical sense of enchantment and charm.  As we learn our way around, we become accustomed to the unique style of gaming, and the daily routine of the furres around us.  After some time, Furcadia becomes a second home, and the furres involved become a second family.  We each develop our own dearly loved “hangouts” established in some of the most famous and charming places of the game.

In the times of “Original Furcadia” Mycroft’s Bar and the Canal were extremely popular places.  Although we no longer use the “Original,” Mycroft’s and the Canal continue to maintain their popularity as hotspots for out-of-character conversations.

Some other hotspots can be found in the depths of Allegria Island.  There you can find smiling Emerald Flames’ Sanctuary, the guild dream of the Circle, or even kindly Alexsi’s and sweet Skirmish’s Lost Lakes.  Not too far away from Lost Lakes, in fact it’s just across the road, you can spy strong willed Klass’ WaterCity.

Trot your way down the main path of the Imaginarium and you’ll find yourself at the Bardic Circle, a comfortable spot for discussing role-play.  At Dusk till Dawn you’ll find a menagerie of furres who enjoy good role-play, and have a seemingly endless supply of plots.

If you enjoy programming, you can try your hand at building a dream in the dream editor made by creative sanctimonious.  Add some dragon speak to your dream and you are well on your way to becoming a well-rounded furre.

The helpful ‘ignore command’ and the stoic Owsla benefit Furcadia, because they make it possible to enjoy yourself without dealing with all the twinks as you work your way throughout the game.

All these features add to the charm and grace of Furcadia.  From whispering banter back and forth with good friends, to enjoying a skit on the stage in Meovanni, there’s always something to do or someone to talk to.  The beauty of Furcadia is that you can live a life of imagination but always have real life to fall back on.  You can let your mind roam free with all the possibilities it can conjure up as you control your cute little avatar throughout the lands of Furcadia.
