The Club located in Germantown, was founded by Ed Wing ,in 1972, located at the Lone Star Tavern, W204 N11912 Goldendale Road.  It consists of  7 clay courts, equipped with lights for evening League play. The Club holds a Spring meeting in April, to discuss the upcoming league season and handle any other business at hand. The Club is associated with the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association and it’s  Sanctioned League Program, in which the Club’s leagues have participated in since 1978.

The Leagues start in May and run through August. League play is Handicapped,50 shoe games, count-all.  At present, leagues are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, starting at 7pm .

Horseshoes is a competitive sport at all levels. Children are also encourage to participated in League play with Scholarship Awards available at the State and National levels.
