Poems About God's Love -Pouring Love-
Every night I dream it, Every day I see it, All the while knowing it; The beauty of His love. The love as pure as light, Making all things right, Soft, yet full of might; Lord, pour on me Your love. -Love Alive- Look deep into my eyes and Tell me what you see. You will find a presence there, A love that dwells in me. Mysterious and shining, It cannot be ignored. This love has given life to me, This love is from my Lord. -Love Revealed- Look around yourself and know The beauty of the earth. Hear the songbird's lullaby And hear the One who gave them birth. My Master and Creator's love Is shown in each of these. Behold His humbling wisdom and Your godless ways, release. -Unseen Love- A flowing song, A whale's breach. It is there, Inside them each. A mother laughs, A tender face. A love is there, It fills this place. |
For You All I want to do is love you
Put away what I want from you and love you I long for safety for myself but Then that doesn't matter now Cuz all I want to do is love you. I want to make you feel alright I want to help you stand secure To show you someone's there beside you I want to help you feel joy. I want to show you how to laugh I want to know your deepest thoughts I want to be close to your heart I want to treat it kindly. I want to arouse your inspiration Want you to know what silence means I want to draw you out from you To show how much you're really worth. I want to help you love the days I want to make them all you dream of I want to listen while you pray I want to help you feel whole. I want to watch you try new things I want to join you in the old I want to be good to you And help you make the right decisions. I want to urge you close to God I want to help you grow in Him I sant to show you all the love He's sent through me to you. I want to make you think a lot And be aware of others' needs I want to help you love your mom I want to be your hiding place. All I want to do is love you Clear out the games of life and love you Above all else my wish tonight is I hope I help you feel alive... I hope I help you live. |

My Journey in Christ -Sky On Sea-
There is a place where sky meets sea And in this ocean that is me, I know it's where I need to be. My currents strong will ever chase the sunset on horizon's lace, Always searching for that place. There two are one in harmony. There my ocean's throws will be set free. An eternal, living symphony. Until the day I meet you there I'll gaze into your sky so fair. I will keep searching- I do swear, For you're my hope...my only prayer. |
Faith No Need For Proof
I lay here quiet, still and worn, asking for a sign. Anything at all to show how real you are. The room grows dark with passing time, the air grows cold. I shiver. Against my window branches rake in protest to the howling wind. It seems so cold and lonely here. My prayer is still unanswered. Slowly I get out of bed and move over to my window. I've been so blind to you, asking for a sign from you as proof my faith is true. I sit and pray for wonders rare, to prove to me you really care. I want to know you're really there. Foolishly I waited, looking for a miracle But in all of the wrong places. All along you've been right here, showing me your love. I see you in the trees, the earth and in the pouring rain. In your delicate creation, I've seen your strong and mighty hand. What joy I have to sit and watch, To see you in the land. |
