I was born in edinburgh 35 years ago and for as far back as I can think I was abused by my parents and uncle and used by them. At the age of 16 I developed schizoprenia and later on in my years was admmitted to a mental ward in a hospital in edinburgh. I became a christian in my teens and was involved in a religious cult who really mesed my mind up. I quickly got out of that and came to bethany christian trust supported accomodation in 1991 and have been living there since then in my own flat. I have the lord to thank for my health and for having over 50 poems printed nationally. love Jimmy McCurdie |
