I need to be like Jesus
He wouldn't act like me
He saw the good in others
And that's how I should be

If He'd done things like I do
The world would still be lost
He followed God's instructions
The Lamb upon the cross

I know all of my problems
Can disappear through You
I pray I gain Your knowledge
Please bless all that I do

When people look at me now
Your grace they do not see
I need to be like Jesus
He wouldn't act like me
