Review of 'The net Commandments - how to be a righteous nerd'
by Norman Fraser

A Unique Book!

This book is all about the 10 commandments and the Internet. It answers questions such as:

Is software piracy wrong?
Is viewing porn a sin? If so why?
Is the Sabbath still relevant today even in an age of computers?
What is hacking? Is it always wrong?

Fraser answers these questions in a biblical manner and also uses his wealth of experience to shed light on different issues. It is obvious that the author has had to deal with many of these issues in his life, and as the number of people using the Internet is on the increase, many of us could use some advice from an experienced 'righteous nerd' (see book title).

I would wholly recommend the chapter entitled 'Let's talk about sex', to any one who is struggling in the area of addiction to pornography. Fraser is totally clear about what we should and shouldn't be looking at, and his biblical approach is most refreshing.

The book is easy to read and is useful for any Internet user - not just hard core programmers!
